Description
Agility is a great sport that promotes teamwork between dog and handler, helps build confidence, is great physical and mental exercise and is really fun!
In this class, you’ll learn how to properly introduce your dog to Agility Equipment such as:
- Jumps
- Dog Walk
- A-Frame
- Table
- Tunnel
- Teeter
We’ll also teach you how to work with your dog in a distracting environment and how keeping up with obedience skills helps activities be more enjoyable!
If you are interested in agility for fun and have zero intention of competing, this is a GREAT class for you!
If you are interested in competing in agility and your dog has not experienced any of the equipment yet, this is a great starting class!
!!! If you miss a class, you can reserve a spot in class to make it up for a small fee. WE DO NOT OFFER FREE MAKE-UP CLASSES.
No Reactive Dogs. Dogs must be able to work in close proximity to other dogs without barking or lunging. Dogs who are overstimulated around other dogs, lunge at, bark at (even if super excited) will be transferred to an appropriate class such as Impulse Control, Obedience or other.
