Obedience Prerequisites: Skills of sit, down, short stay, recall, leash manners and the ability to work around other dogs and people and stay on task.
Agility Prerequisites: Confident and fluent with all agility obstacles. If your dog is new to agility and has not experienced the equipment yet, start with our Agility Prep Class.
This is a class where multiple dogs may be off leash at the same time separated by gates.
Dogs must be able to settle quietly in a crate between runs.
If you have taken agility at another facility or with another coach, please contact us so we can place you in an appropriate class for your skill level.
Agility 3 is for dogs who are confident and fluent with all agility equipment and are ready to learn precision, speed, different approaches AND for handlers ready to learn how to move from obstacle to obstacle using Front Cross, Rear Cross, Blind Cross, Tandem Turn, and more.
NO REACTIVE DOGS. Dogs who lunge at or bark at other dogs will be transferred to another class that is designed for dogs who need help in that area of learning. No Exceptions.
No Screaming or barking while crated. If your dog can’t settle quietly in a crate during down time it may be an option to work out of your car. Please call us for more information.
Dogs who mark equipment will be required to wear a belly band for the duration of class.
** Minimum Requirement: Reliable Name Response, Short Stay while you move away from your dog, Reliable Recall, some Leash Skills. If your dog is found not to have the skills needed for this class, we will transfer you to the appropriate class where you and your dog can become an amazing off-leash team.
**You and your dog should have experience waiting your turn while other dogs work obstacles. If you and your dog don’t have experience working in a busy environment, where other dogs may be running while you are waiting your turn, we strongly recommend our Active Dog class first.
If you miss a class, you can reserve a spot in class to make it up for a small fee. WE DO NOT OFFER FREE MAKE-UP CLASSES.
