Description

Whether your dog weighs 5 pounds or 180 pounds, a jumping dog can be annoying and may even be considered a danger to others.

It’s important to know what’s driving the jumping behavior in order to eliminate this undesirable habit.

In this 4 week workshop, we will address the cause of your dog’s jumping and introduce several training techniques for encouraging your dog to keep his paws on the floor.

Things to bring:

Dog should be on a flat collar, gentle leader or front hook harness.
6 ft leash, NO Retractable Leashes
Mat, towel or blanket
Lots of yummy treats

No Reactive Dogs please.

Dogs must be friendly to all other dogs and persons and must be able to work in a room with other dogs.

If you have a Reactive Dog who jumps out of excitement, consider our Reactive Dog 1 course or Basic Obedience for Reactive Dogs.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not feed your dog their regular meal immediately before your training session. If your lesson interrupts your regular feeding schedule, please feed your dog only a small portion of their regular meal.

All handlers must be 18 years or older and physically able to restrain the dog. Persons under the age of 18 are only permitted to hold the leash with an adult present and handling a secondary safety line.
