This seminar will give a decoy the knowledge to lay the foundation work needed to begin the development of police apprehension training, personal protection and protection sport dogs.

You will learn how to utilize the right equipment to develop a dog from puppy to adult depending on the purpose of the dog.


About the instructor

Sergio A. Nieves is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and Decoy. In 2002 he began training his own dogs just for fun. He began learning more about behavior modification, dog sports and police k-9. In 2005, he joined a Dog Sport Club and became involved in the dog world. He began practicing the French Ring Sport which includes Obedience, Agility and Bite Work (protection). In 2008, he earned three certifications to train French Ring Sport Dogs, Police K9 and Obedience with Behavior Modification. As a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and Decoy by the North American Ring Association (NARA), American Working Dog Association (AWDA), Central Canine Society (SCC in France), The American Kennel Club (AKC) and others, Sergio is a highly respected decoy for Police K9s, French Ring, Mondioring, IPO, and Executive Programs.
