Fun rattie hunting for dogs!

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Hunting for ratties has come to Pack of Paws! Come participate in a fun sport that promotes confidence building and teamwork as you “hunt” for rats with your canine companion. Dogs have an amazing sense of smell and a natural desire to hunt. Happy Ratters provides a safe and clean environment that simulates a city alley where one might find such things as boxes, trashcans, shredded paper, and other forms of unused “trash”.

  • Rats are always safely contained in either a cage or PVC breathable tube.
  • Dogs must navigate obstacles as well as discriminate between distractor tubes, that contain used bedding or are empty, in order to sniff out the correct tubes that contain the rats.

Dogs who are reactive to other dogs CAN take this class.

Dogs who are reactive to people can be evaluated first before enrolling, this evaluation will be by appointment and at the current private lesson rate.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not feed your dog their regular meal immediately before your training session. If your lesson interrupts your regular feeding schedule, please feed your dog only a small portion of their regular meal.

Payments for all services must be made directly to Pack of Paws Dog Training.
All services are non-refundable. See Terms of Service for details.
