For impulsive, impatient dogs who are so easily aroused by their environment that they forget you’re there.
Teach your distracted dog to actively pay attention to YOU and to stay on task in even the most exciting environment!
Active attention means your dog chooses to look to you for information before responding to distractions in its environment. It is also known as impulse control. Reinforcing active attention helps your dog learn to stay calm when exciting things happen.
In this class, you will learn how to teach your dog to think first, wait for information, then respond. Active attention is useful in almost every situation.
Using easy-to-implement techniques and fun games, your dog will learn patterns and habits that can help it stay engaged with you in all situations.
