Reactive Dog / Scaredy Dog / Impulse Control

Reactive Dog I and Practical Experience
8 weeks $230 ($20 charge for second handler)
Donna Savoie, CPDT & Meridith Hallisey

Our Reactive Dog I and Reative Dog Practical Experience classes are unique. Learn simple techniques to help your dog make better decisions than to lunge, bark and carry on when she sees another dog, or person, or bicycle or anything else that causes her anxiety. Other growly dog, feisty fido and reactive dog classes do not compare to our Reactive Dog curriculums. In only a few weeks, you and your dog will be able to walk with other dogs, walk toward other dogs and be in the general vacinity of other dogs without initiating incidents of chaos. You will learn skills to better understand what your dog is thinking and what her needs are.

As a graduate of our Reactive Dog curriculum, you will have the opportunity to network with and work with other Pack of Paws Dog Training clients who are working on the same protocols with their dog. The results of our Reactive Dog classes are outstanding. Sign up and be amazed at the simplicity and be rewarded with a more relaxed dog in situations that had previously stressed her.

Laurie Merritt MEd CPDT CD CDX RN and Sled Dog Novice

October 2010 Laurie and Darwin Title in Freestyle!  Congratulations!

What is Freestyle? Freestlye is simply having some fun and relaxing with your dog. It's a GREAT way to build self-confidence in a shy, insecure dog and a GREAT way for those personality plus dogs to show off. Freestlye is you, working with your dog to music. Dogs learn to back up, weave, weave between your legs, heel, spin and so much more. You can compete, but don't have to. You can do shows, but don't have to. You can incorporate it as exercise in your daily routine, but don't have to. It's fun, it's a huge stress reliever for human and dog and what you learn can be used in everyday life! Come and give it a try!
Watch Carolyn Scott, she's awesome!
