And with summer comes summer wardrobe! Colorful shorts and sandals! Cool tops!
When you come to dog training, it's important that safety is first even when it comes to wardrobe!
Shoes - No open back shoes please! No heels, not even a low wedge. If sandals are your choice, they must be secured safely with some sort of sling back. Remember that your feet could get stepped on (especially in puppy class!) and those claws can hurt delicate toes. If you were to step out of the shoes such as a flip flop, scholl, or other open back shoe, you could trip and fall. Please, no open back shoes. Sneaker type shoes are recommended. Leather bottom shoes such as business loafers can be a slip hazard. Sneakers or hiking shoes are recommended.
Note: If your workboots, sneakers, hiking shoes, etc are packed with dirt or mudd from your day; Please clean them off (or change them) before entering the training facility. Thank you for your consideration.
Shorts - If shorts are your choice, remember that you could get jumped on (especially in puppy class!) and those claws can really hurt your legs. Long pants are recommended, even for children. While working your dog, you may be bending, or sitting on the floor with her. Be sure you will be comfortable and without wardrobe malfunction.
Short shorts are discouraged.
Shirts - Shirts are required. Shirts should cover the entire torso. While working your dog, you may be bending, or sitting on the floor with her. Be sure you will be comfortable and without wardrobe malfunction.
Tanktops of any style are discouraged.
Summer Sun Dresses are pretty and flashy! But we don't want to be flashing in dog training class!
